Parameter Groups are like presets with one major difference. Presets can save only one one value for each UTM parameter. But parameter groups can save multiple UTM values for each UTM parameter.
For example, you might run display ads campaigns with these settings repeated often
utm_medium = display
utm_source = google, bing
utm_content = 120×600, 160×600, 200×200, 250×250, 300×250, etc.
You can create a new parameter group, say “Display Ads” and save these UTM values in it. When building a tracking URLs for your display campaigns, you can select this parameter group instead of typing/selecting individual UTM values. This makes URL building much quicker and less error prone.
Once you have created your parameter groups, use them with multi-tag UTM builder to quickly build lots of URLs for your social, ads or email campaigns.
