What if a user doesn’t get the invitation email?

Email delivery is complex with many parties involved. In rare cases, a user might not get the invitation email from Terminus.

Some possible reasons for not getting emails:

  • Emails might be going to spam/junk folder
  • Many companies have rules in place to block emails to groups/distribution lists, say to managers@company.com from external email addresses. This is to prevent spam propagating to many people. These emails are silently deleted/blocked. If you are using a group email address, talk to your IT team and allow access to emails from our domain, terminusapp.com.
  • Inbox is full

If you think none of the above are applicable to your case, you can

1. Resend the invitation email

Click Resend invitation for the particular user

resend-user-invitation

This will make another attempt to send the invitation email.

2. Get in touch with us

If everything fails, get in touch with us and we’ll take it from there.
